The Sunday Serenade with Thom Bishop

Thom Bishop began performing career in Chicago, since then his songs, recordings and performances have received critical acclaim in the New York Times, The Chicago Tribune and Entertainment Publications such as Billboard, Downbeat, Variety, and American Songwriter. His songs have earned him a gold disc and a Cable Ace Award. They have been recorded and performed by a wide range of artists including Richie Havens, David Bromberg, Freddie Jackson, The Boston Pops and the Rochester Philharmonic, as well as being in such feature films soundtracks as "About Last Night" and "Def By Temptation"
Besides songs, he has a separate career, writing fiction under the pen name, Junior Burke. His 2020 Novel, "The Cold Last Swim" was one of the five finalists for a sidewise award, the annual prize for the best works of alternate history. "Buddha Was A Cowboy" (2022) was a finalist for the international Mark Twain Award in the category of Satire and Comedy.
